Louis Porter
is a British artist who focusses predominately on the archival impulse and photography. His work is held in several international collections including: The Victoria and Albert Museum (UK), The Peabody Essex Museum (USA) the FRAC centre Orléans (FR) and the State Library of Victoria (AU).
In 2013 he established his own imprint TwentyShelves, its first publication Anatomy of Business was a winner of the inaugural Most Beautiful Books Australia New Zealand and his second Conflict Resolution selected for the International Photography Book Prize in Kassel Germany. His work has also been featured in a wide variety of international publications, including Foam, Aperture, The British Journal of Photography, Fotograf and Photofile.
